GSPro does not start
PuttBay opens GSPro and presses Play for you. If GSPro shows an update, terms, or another question, answer it there. PuttBay continues afterward.
If PuttBay cannot find GSPro, open Settings and select the main GSPro folder.
Another app is connected to GSPro
GSPro accepts one launch monitor connection at a time. Close the other GSPro connect app, then choose Try again. See Another app is using GSPro.
Shots do not reach GSPro
- Check that the GSPro tile says Ready.
- Open a course or the range in GSPro.
- Check the Launch monitor tile and follow its one next step.
My putts do nothing
On the practice green, check the camera's Ready light and follow its next step. In a GSPro round, select the putter in GSPro and try again. If the camera is not ready, open Set up camera putting.
The ball-ready arrows do not turn green
Turn on Show Ball Ready Indicator and follow GSPro settings that matter.
GSPro's connect app went silent
GSPro's connect app went silent. Reset GSPro Connect in GSPro's settings, or Close GSPro too. Open Settings > System in GSPro and choose Reset GSPro Connect. If that does not work, choose Close GSPro too in PuttBay and start again.
GSPro putts for me
Turn off Auto Putt in GSPro. Gimmes are fine. See Let the camera do the putting.
springbok is open but the device is not ready
springbok could not find your MLM2PRO. Turn on the launch monitor and wait for its ready light. For an MLM2PRO, follow the MLM2PRO checklist.
The tile says Reconnect launch monitor
Choose Reconnect launch monitor to try the connection again now.
Another golf connection is open
Another golf connection is open. Keep only the one set up in PuttBay. Choose Choose connection to check which connection PuttBay is using. The first one stays connected until you choose.
GSPro accepted or rejected the latest shot
GSPro accepted the latest launch monitor shot. The connection worked and GSPro confirmed the shot. GSPro did not accept this shot. Hit it again. The connection worked. Set up for the next shot and try again.
The camera missed pictures during a roll
Not sent because the camera missed too much of that roll. Close programs you are not using. If that does not help, plug the putting camera into a different socket on the PC. See When PuttBay refuses a roll.
The ball movement was not steady enough to measure
Not sent because the camera could not measure one clear, steady roll. Check the light and camera view, then try again.
PuttBay saw too little of the start of the roll
Not sent because the camera did not see enough of that putt. Keep the ball in view a little longer, and check that it starts inside the dashed gold start zone. A wider start zone may help if it matches where you actually place the ball.
The camera is slower than expected
Add more steady light and close every other camera program. If that does not help, use another socket on the PC. See Why camera speed matters.
The ball looks too small in the picture
Move the camera closer to the mat. See If the ball looks too small.
The controller does nothing
- Open controller setup and press any button to test it.
- If Only send keys to GSPro is on, bring GSPro to the front.
- If no button appears, reconnect the controller and try again.
Windows or antivirus blocks PuttBay
Early builds of PuttBay are not yet signed, so Windows may warn about an app it has not seen before. Check that the file came from the PuttBay team and that its SHA-256 matches the one they sent, then choose More info and Run anyway.
Removing PuttBay
- Open Launch monitor setup and press Put springbok back as it was. This restores both springbok settings: its saved GSPro address and its own camera putting setting.
- Close PuttBay, then delete the folder you extracted from the beta zip.
- If you also want to erase saved putts and settings, open Settings > Report a problem and save a report. Choose Open folder. In File Explorer, go up to the PuttBay folder, close PuttBay, then delete that folder.
Nothing here matches
Open Settings and choose Report a problem. Review what is included, then save the report. Private details are hidden before the report is created.
