Another app is using GSPro

GSPro takes one launch monitor connection at a time. Here's how to hand it over.

GSPro accepts one launch monitor connection at a time. PuttBay found another program already using it, so PuttBay waits instead of interrupting it.

The app holding the connection is usually one of these:

  • springbok
  • another GSPro connect app
  • a second copy of PuttBay that is still running

Follow these steps

In the PuttBay app, these steps are interactive: the app performs the checks for you and provides the named buttons. Here they are plain instructions you can read on any device.

  1. 01

    Close the other app

    Close it fully, including anything left in the system tray by the clock. PuttBay names the app on the GSPro tile.

  2. 02

    Check the connection is free

    Automatic check: PuttBay checks that its GSPro connection is ready.

    In-app button: Check again.

  3. 03

    Start GSPro

    In-app button: Start playing.
