Putting practice
Set up your camera using Set up camera putting. Then choose Start putting practice on Home. You do not need GSPro or a launch monitor. The practice green records your putts and lets you play games.
GSPro round (if you use GSPro)
The checks below are for golfers who use GSPro. You can set up the camera without a launch monitor.
Follow these steps
In the PuttBay app, these steps are interactive: the app performs the checks for you and provides the named buttons. Here they are plain instructions you can read on any device.

Find GSPro
PuttBay looks for GSPro on this PC. If it cannot find your installed copy, open Settings and choose the folder where you installed GSPro.
Automatic check: PuttBay checks that it can find the GSPro installation.
In-app button: Check again.

Connect your launch monitor
PuttBay checks which launch monitor setup your GSPro license uses and shows you the one next step.
Automatic check: PuttBay checks that the launch monitor route is connected.
In-app button: Scan for the launch monitor.

Add camera putting (optional)
A camera above your mat reads your putts, so you putt for real instead of letting the simulator guess. You can skip this now and add it later. PuttBay tells you if your GSPro setup cannot use camera putting and shows the putting choice that will work.
Automatic check: PuttBay checks that the selected putting camera is connected.
In-app button: Open putting setup.

Connect your controller
A gamepad or keypad lets you aim, change clubs, and move the camera without walking back to the keyboard. Press any button on it now.
Automatic check: PuttBay checks that the controller is connected and responding.
In-app button: Test the controller.

Play
Choose Start GSPro on Home. PuttBay opens GSPro, gets past its start screen, and checks your gear.
Automatic check: PuttBay checks that its GSPro connection is ready.
In-app button: Start playing.
What PuttBay needs from you
- For GSPro rounds, your own GSPro license. PuttBay does not include GSPro.
- For launch monitor shots, whatever the maker requires. Some need a membership or an app sign-in. Your device's guide says exactly what.
